page. Delta’s & Air France’s Facebook is updated frequently, also post
status and pictures to keep their current costumers and to attract new ones.
Delta’s Facebook page has post almost every day or at least a couple times a
week. Some days they post more than once in a day depending if there is an
event or sale that week. Air France’s Facebook page has post just as much
compared to Delta’s. They post almost everyday, if not 3-4 times a week.
Delta’s content on their Facebook page consist of advertisements, images,
videos, promotions, facts and information about sales. Air France’s content on
their Facebook page has multiple contests, events, pictures, and videos about
their brand. Air France does not use the 50/50 rule as much compared to
Delta’s.

Delta has posted recently that was successful was a picture taken from one of
their flights over NYC city. It was posted on March 4th at 3:00pm.
It shows an overview of Central Park. This picture got 1.2K likes, 121 shares
and 40 comments on it. The caption on the picture says, “If you combined all the runways at JFK Airport, you’d
have an area roughly 6.5 times the size of Central Park. #PhotogInFlight.” This picture
can help attract costumers to want to travel to New York. There was another
post that Delta’s posted that was more successful but not as recent. Delta
posted a video of a winner they had for a contest for Safety Lifetime
Achievement Award. This post was made on February 28th at 5:46pm. It
had 2.3K likes, 479 shares and over 168 comments.
A post that
Air France had on their Facebook page that was successful was a picture updated
for their cover photo. It was updated on February 26th at 12:00pm.
The caption says “Lights: ON. Cabin
crew: OK. Ready for the #Oscars2016.” This picture had 3K likes, 137 shares
and over 112 comments. This post got a lot of attention because they were both
advertising their brand and the Oscars. Delta gets more reaction from their
costumers on their Facebook post compared too Air France. Air France does have
successful post, but on most of their posts there is not as much reactions
compared to Deltas many posts.
