Air France is a popular airline that
travels around France, which was founded on October 7th, 1933. It
had 179 destinations in 80 countries in 2015. With having a well known airline
this company needs to advertise their airline over social media outlets. Some

that will be analyzing their strategies is Facebook. Air France’s Facebook page
has 5,561,025 likes. On their Facebook page, they try to post once a week, but
tend to not be as frequently. They have post about contest that they offer,
deals/offers and adds about their airline. It has a large variety of photos and
videos related to their airline. They show the world’s most beautiful cities to
attract costumers and travelers to purchase with their airlines and flights
that they offer. Air France tends to answer to comments that people write on
their page. With having their language in French, they both tend to write in
French and English to help language barriers for different costumers.
Air France also has a YouTube account. On
their YouTube account it has 39,946 subscribers and 95,464,413 views on their
videos. They do not post videos frequently compared to their other social media
accounts. They try to post a couple times a month. They have videos in both
English and French. Their videos are more about information and facts about the
airline; also they have tips about Air France.
The last social media account that we will
be analyzing is Instagram. Air France’s Instagram has 278K followers and 590
posts. They have a hash tag #Airfrance that gets travelers on board with their
community through their pictures. Air France Instagram focuses more on
advertisements and about their planes. They have different pictures that will
attract costumers to look into booking flights with their airline and also
encourage them to follow their social media sites.
In Conclusion, Air France has a high demand
for their social media accounts. They post on all of their accounts, but could
post more frequently. If they post more on their accounts it can engage more
costumers to book flights with them and they will be more interested in Air
France by seeing lots of posts. They also could post more of similar post of
their variety of accounts; so all followers can see their information. With this
information, Air France can improve on their social media strategies to become
a better and improve company.
